Mr. Andrew Hegewald is currently the New Gas Business Development Manager for Sustainability Initiatives of Dominion Energy (formerly Questar Corporation) in their Salt Lake City offices. These initiatives include Renewable Natural Gas and Power-to-Gas projects. Andrew enjoys developing, scoping, modelling, and negotiating projects related to these sustainability initiatives. Before coming to Dominion Energy, Andrew worked at PacifiCorp and American Electric Power in commodity trading, asset optimization, and long-term strategic planning roles. His areas of expertise include business development, project management, strategic planning, project engineering, and energy commodity trading for all fuel types within the energy sector, with a specific emphasis on renewable and emerging energy technologies. Andrew holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a registered and licensed Professional Engineer in Utah. In his downtime, Andrew enjoys any and all activities in the Wasatch Mountains, especially fly-fishing and skiing.
