Julie co-founded the national Women in Energy Efficiency, a network founded in mentorship opportunities for current university students with working professionals. Julie has served numerous roles in the community, ranging from the local community – such as Mayor Erin Mendenhall’s transition committee – to the international community – such as a contributor to the World Bank’s Shoktikonna Program, a co-hort based leadership program for Southeast Asian women in the renewable energy sector. Julie’s professional contributions have been recognized by local (e.g., Utah Business Magazine) and national (e.g., US Department of Energy) awards.
