Blake Billings is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Energy & Geoscience Institute at the University of Utah and the Commercial Program Manager of the Intermountain Industrial Assessment Center. His current research focuses on energy system modeling and optimization, grid-responsive smart manufacturing, and grid management utilizing renewable sources. His previous positions include experience with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and within private manufacturing. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
