Aaron Meyer

Instructional Research Staff

Aaron Meyer holds bachelor’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Civil & Environmental Engineering, and a master’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah. Aaron‘s expertise lies in characterizing atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions, specifically carbon dioxide and methane, using empirical data and inverse modeling techniques. In his research staff role at EGI, he works to identify and investigate novel methods for atmospheric monitoring of greenhouse gasses using a variety of in-situ, remote sensing, and modeling platforms. By developing methods for locating and quantifying atmospheric emissions, Aaron‘s work facilitates monitoring, verification, and accounting programs for carbon sequestration and fossil fuel extraction projects.
