EGI, in coordination with the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Hinckley Institute for Politics at the University of Utah, is pleased to bring author and widely respected journalist Robert Bryce to Salt Lake City for discussions with both EGI and the Hinckley Institute. Mr. Bryce will be speaking on “Innovation, Scale & the Myths of ‘Green’ Energy” as well as his newest book, Smarter Faster Lighter Denser Cheaper: How Innovation Keeps Proving the Catastrophists Wrong.

As a global leader in energy science research, EGI and Chemical Engineering are proud to partner with the Hinckley Institute in presenting a unique program bridging the science to find energy with journalism, practical politics, and citizen involvement. Robert Bryce has been a professional journalist for nearly three decades and has been writing about the energy business since 1989. His articles have appeared in dozens of publications and he is the author of numerous books.

Mr. Bryce will speak Wednesday, March 11 at the Hinckley Institute of Politics at 11:00 a.m. and the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00 pm. Hinckley Forum events are always free and open to the public, as is the evening event held in the Library Auditorium. We encourage anyone in the local area to join us for the first lecture in the 2015 Science to Find Energy Lecture Series. Streaming audio of the archived presentation will be available at http://kuer.org/category/politics after the event.
