The 2015 EGI Corporate Associate Technical Conference will be held June 7 – 12, 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT, immediately following the optional Depositional Systems Field Course – Laramide Tectonics, Cretaceous Stratigraphy & Source Rock Reservoirs ) from June 4 – 7, 2015.

This year’s 3-day field trip departs from Denver, the Thursday following AAPG ACE and will focus on conventional & tight petroleum systems in the Rockies. Site visits include Niobrara chalk outcrops and quarries, Mowry Shale, the famous Como Bluff Fossil Cabin, Mesaverde Group, Green River “Oil Shale,” the Uinta Mountains, and the Utah-Wyoming Thrust Belt.

EGI’s European/Slovakia meeting has been combined with our June 2015 CA Technical Conference in Salt Lake City, UT.*

The 2015 EGI Slovakia CA Field Course, Meetings & Short Courses with the theme of Rifts & Passive Margins will be held in Smolenice, Slovakia the week of April 27-30, 2015. EGI Bratislava and Salt Lake City staff will present a compelling field course, meeting, and short courses highlighting international energy industry questions and EGI research focused on Rifts and Passive Margins including Africa, Mexico, Asia, and Australia as well as global ocean and thematic research and geochemistry.
