At this year’s Conference, attendees will enjoy a series of insightful, detailed sessions exploring the scientific and technical knowledge driving innovation and reducing costs. A sampling of topics includes

  • Scientific insights and knowledge gained in both conventional and tight petroleum systems, enhanced production, and support for your commercial interests
  • Expanded services developed in part from the positive feedback of EGI’s CA members, including geomechanics, geochemistry (inorganic & organic), and tight rock permeability measurements
  • Research Project updates – South American Shales, Petroleum System Atlas in Mexico, Large Scale Geologic Controls on Hydraulic Stimulation, and Efficient Hydraulic Fracturing Systems

Registration is open to multiple attendees per CA member, offering companies the opportunity to include a variety off staff to cover a broad spectrum of corporate interests.

Optional Field Course & Core Workshop June 4–7

Our Field Course: Depositional Systems in the Rocky Mountains will encompass petroleum systems from Denver to Salt Lake City. Site visits include Niobrara chalk outcrops and quarries, Mowry Shale, the historical Como Bluff Fossil Cabin, Mesaverde Group system, Green River “Oil Shale,” the Uinta Mountains, and the Utah-Wyoming Thrust Belt. The course will depart from Denver, CO on June 4, following the close of AAPG ACE June 3, 2015. Field Course space is open to the first 50 registrations.
