Chief Geoscientist

Provide the highest level expertise to EGI scientific staff on geoscience and innovation and a strong emphasis on quality results. Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of experts. Ability to help institute experts connect to industry sponsors. Ability to mentor junior technical and support staff and graduate, undergraduate and international visiting scientists.
 

Head of Petroleum Geochemistry

Develop and obtain funding for EGI research program that involve multiple aspects of petroleum geochemistry including managing in-house laboratories and out-sourcing to high quality vendors. Develop multi-disciplinary petroleum geochemistry related research concepts for support by EGI Corporate Associates. Make presentations to research sponsors and prepare and teach industry relevant short courses and seminars.

Head of Sequence Stratigraphy

Ability to perform advanced sequence stratigraphic interpretations from well control integrated to seismic and outcrop data where available.  Familiarity with chonstratigraphic data and value of biostratigrahic control. Make presentations to EGI research sponsors and prepare and teach industry relevant in the institute, in sponsor office settings and in the field in the USA and internationally.

Lead for Basin Analysis and Modeling

Ability to perform advanced 1-D, 2-D and 3-D basin models. Make presentations to EGI research sponsors and prepare and teach industry relevant course and training for technology transfer within the institute and in sponsor offices in the USA and internationally.
